Joneé Lewis Biography

Joneé Lewis is an American award-winning journalist who currently works as a reporter at Fox 13 Tampa Bay since joining in January 2022. She previously worked as the weekend anchor in Greensboro/Winston-Salem. She also served as a reporter for WXII before she re-located to Greater Memphis Area. During her time at WXII-TV, Jonee anchored the weekend 6.00, 10.00 11.00 newscast. Moreover, she was also working as a general assignment reporter on the weekdays.

She worked at WREG-TV for a period of three years and seven months at WBTW-TV from May 2013 to November 2016. While here, she began as a producer and digital journalist . Lewis was then promoted to a morning reporter. She was later raised to the weekend evening anchor back in March 2015. Before that, Lewis was a social media specialist at Public Super Markets from August 2012 to April 2013.

Lewis previously worked for WUFT-TV as a general assignment reporter and producer. She has served as an evening news intern at CBS News from June 2011 to August 2011. She was also a video journalist and associate producer at WCJB based in Gainesville, Florida Area from November 2010 to May 2011. Her journalism career began in Tallahassee, Florida Area working as a daybreak producer at WCTV News from April 2010 to July 2010.

I’m ecstatic to be working as a reporter for FOX 13 Tampa Bay. Since I used to read the morning announcements in elementary school, I’ve wanted to be a reporter. As a native of Polk County, I am returning home. I am thrilled to be back in Central Florida, the home of Publix, where I spent my formative years.

I have degrees from Florida State University and the University of Florida (I know! ), but you can always find me supporting my ‘Noles while wearing garnet and gold. As part of my broadcasting career, I have worked as a producer, reporter, and anchor in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and Memphis, Tennessee.
