Craig Herrera Biography
Craig Herrera joined FOX Weather in 2021 and is presently a co-host for the ad-supported streaming weather program in the afternoons and evenings. Herrera, a five-time Emmy-winning local meteorologist, was most recently a meteorologist for Seattle’s KING-TV (NBC).
He formerly worked on the weekday morning news team at KNTV-TV (NBC) in San Francisco, as well as the weather reporting teams at KCBS-TV in Los Angeles and KGTV-TV in San Diego (ABC). The American Meteorology Society (AMS) certified meteorologist, a Pacific Coast weather specialist, has covered every significant weather occurrence from San Diego to Seattle.
Herrera, a cycling enthusiast, has completed the AIDS LifeCycle five times, a seven-day bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise awareness and funds for HIV/AIDS patients.

Herrera earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Journalism from the University of New Mexico in 1995. In 2002, he received his Broadcast Meteorology credential from the University of Mississippi. He was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and currently resides in New Jersey with his wife, two dogs, and cat.
