Britta Merwin started working for FOX Weather in 2021 and is now the morning co-anchor of the ad-supported streaming weather program. Merwin was most recently a meteorologist at Houston’s NBC affiliate KPRC-TV, where she progressed through the ranks to become the morning meteorologist.
She provided essential coverage of Hurricane Harvey, as well as several tropical storms and floods that impacted the area, while she was there. She was also active in the community, visiting schools in Houston and the surrounding areas to encourage students to pursue STEM and scientific jobs. As the mother of a special needs kid, she is also a devoted champion for the Autism community.
Merwin began her meteorology career as the morning meteorologist for CNBC’s morning show, Squawk Box, on NBC Weather Plus.
