Claire Anderson is an American Award-winning journalist who presently works as a meteorologist at Fox 5 DC based in Washington DC since Aprill 2022. She previously worked at KIRO 7 News situated in Seattle, WA for a period of about four years and a month.

After her graduation, Anderson relocated to to Great Falls, MT to work at KRTV as a Weekend Forecaster and reporter for two years. During her time there, forecasted thunderstorms, high winds and snowstorms before moving to Santa Barbara, CA in 2014 where she worked as a Weekday Weather Forecaster on KCOY-KEYT-KKFX for two years.

She mainly covered covered California Wildfires, coastal oil spills, and Santa Ana winds. In 2016, Claire moved to pacific Northwest to work at KOIN CBS in Portland, OR as a Meteorologist. Claire presented weekend, morning, and evening forecasts that included wildfires, record heat waves, and ice storms.

Claire returned to Seattle in 2018 and worked as a meteorologist for KIRO 7 News. She oversaw coverage of the record heatwave of 2021, the unprecedented flooding in Bellingham, and multiple snowstorms over her four years in the role. In April 2022 she moved to Anderson moved to Washington DC and joined FOX 5 DC as a Morning Meteorologist Monday through Friday.

During her time there, she forecasted severe thunderstorms and tornadoes, flooding and record heat. She also reported LIVE for the FOX 5 Morning Show, which included the re-opening of the National Air & Space Musuem, behind the scenes of Cirque de Soleil, and played tennis in the stadium of the Washington DC Citi Open Tennis Tournament.
