Ginger Chan is an American Award-winning journalist who presently works as the traffic and news helicopter, sky 5 at KTLA News since March of 2008.

Ginger started her journalism career as a traffic and news reporter from the helicopter, Sky5. At the moment, Chan helps commuters steer clear of collisions and construction projects every weekday morning from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Previously, Chan worked at KIIS-FM, reporting both the traffic and covering the news as a fill-in for Ellen K.

In a Cessna 172, she flew over Southern California in the mornings and afternoons to cover traffic for shows on KLAC-AM. She collaborated with Fred Roggin, T.J. Simers, Petros Papadakis, and Matt “Money” Smith.
