Wendy Bell is an American award-winning journalist and radio presenter who presently works as a radio host at KDKA.
Previously, she worked for WTAE-TV as a news anchor and reporter in 2016. In 2020 during the Coronavirus ( COVID-19), Bell faced backlash after her remarks on businesses to shut down back in 2020.
Wendy started her journalism career at a local television station where she worked as a reporter. She was later promoted and became a fixture on the national news stage. Being an excellent story teller and dedication, Wendy found it easy to walk in any news room.
In addition to her expertise as a news anchor, she is a passionate advocate for marginalized communities. She courageously fought for issues important to her especially to the ones been ignored.
Upon completing high school, she proceeded to the University of University of Colorado Boulder where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast journalism.
