Previously, Borchardt worked for TV Sur Canal 14 as as a news anchor, reporter, and producer since 2007. According to reports, she took a three-year hiatus from her career as she relocated to the U.S where she advanced her studies in New York.
Lucrecia landed her first job Univision family in San Francisco California where she works in multiple capacities for three year in January 2011. She reported on Univision’s FM radio stations and served as host, weather anchor, and traffic reporter for the Al Despertar morning show. She also works as an on-air personality, where she gets to interview celebrities like Jencarlos Canela and Prince Royce, among others.
In 2004, she joined Telemundo based in San Jose, Northern California, where she worked for a period of six years. During her time there, she presented weather segments from 5 in the morning on the news programs “Telemundo 48 Primera Edition” and “Telemundo 48 a las Diez.” She also recorded weather segments for other stations affiliated with Telemundo in markets such as Miami, Los Angeles, and even Puerto Rico.
