Shereen Bhan is an Indian journalist and news anchor who presently works as the Managing Editor of CNBC-TV18 since 7 December 2000.

On 1 September, Shereen took over the role after her predecessor Udayan Mukherjee decided to step down. Bhan started her journalism career at Karan Thapar in his production house Infotainment Television as a news-researcher.

Shereen joined UTV’s News and Current Affairs division and produced shows like We the People for Star TV and Line of Fire for SAB TV. On 7 December, bhan joined CNBC-TV18 as a news anchor.

In addition, Bhan serves as the anchor and editor of Young Turks, one of the longest-running entrepreneurial programs in India. Besides reporting, she also hosts Overdrive, which won the News Television Award for the ‘Best Auto Show’ for three consecutive years.

Bhan  heads the channel’s special feature programming that carries several pioneering shows such as Ministers of Change and What Women Really Want. She received the ‘Best Business Talk Show’ award at the News Television awards for two years consecutively.

Bhan attended Kendriya Vidyalaya in Kashmir and also at Air Force Bal Bharati School (A.F.B.B.S) Lodhi Road, New Delhi. She joined St. Stephen’s College, Delhi where she graduated with a degree in Philosophy, and later proceeded to the University of Pune where she earned her master’s in Communication Studies.
