Louis Aguirre Biography
Louis Aguirre born ( Louis Juan Aguirre ) is an American news anchor currently at WPLG Local 10 News Miami. Before he joined WPLG Local 10 News channel, Juan worked for The Insider as an anchor covering the entertainment field.
Louis began his television career in 1989 as a Spanish-language reporter for Telemundo, where he earned his first Emmy Award nomination for a series chronicling America’s AIDS crisis. After landing a coveted interview with Cuban President Fidel Castro, Aguirre joined South Florida’s ABC affiliate, WPLG, as a reporter in 1990.
In 1994, Aguirre moved to Hollywood to work as a correspondent for Extra, which led to a position as a lead correspondent for A Current Affair. He was subsequently named the first co-host of Fox News Channel’s morning newscast Fox & Friends.
