Lori Anne Loughlin is an American Actress and producer from the United States. She portrayed Rebecca Donaldson Katsopolis in the ABC sitcom Full House from 1988 to 1995, and she returned in the series’ Netflix prequel Fuller House (2016–2018).

The Edge of Night (1980–1983), Debbie Wilson in the CW series 90210 (2008–2012), Jennifer Shannon in the Garage Sale Mystery television film series (2013–2018), and Abigail Stanton in When Calls the Heart (2014–2019) are other notable roles that Loughlin has played.

She co-created, produced, and starred in the two seasons of Summerland on The WB (2004–2005). In connection with the 2019 college admissions bribery scandal, Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to commit fraud in 2020. She received a two-month prison term, and in December 2020, she was released.

Loughlin first developed an interest in acting when she was a young girl. She started her career as a print model when she was 11 years old, recalling: My mom had a friend who was traveling into Manhattan to meet with a modeling agency. She asked my mother whether I would like to accompany her as she brought her teenage girls home.

My mother grudgingly agreed to let me go, but I don’t believe she ever anticipated any consequences. They gave me a contract and stated, “We’ll take you,” as I entered.

She was hired at the age of 15 to portray the role of aspiring dancer Jody Travis in the ABC serial opera The Edge of Night, which ran from 1980 to 1983. Loughlin made over a dozen feature films and television cameos between 1983 and 1988. She appeared in the iconic Rad BMX film from 1986.

Loughlin played Rebecca “Aunt Becky” Donaldson, Danny Tanner’s (Bob Saget) co-host, and later Jesse Katsopolis’s (John Stamos) wife, on the ABC sitcom Full House from 1988 to 1995. She was originally planned for a six-episode arc, but after becoming a well-liked character on the show, she was made a regular.
