Lissette Nuñez born ( Lissette Nuñez Arellano ) is an American Award-winning journalist who presently works as a news reporter at Fox 5 News since March 2021. Previeously, Nuñez worked for Fox 61 as a reporter in Hartford since September 2018.

According to reports, Lissette worked as a News Reporting intern at CNY Central WSTM, NBC3, wTVH and CBS5. In addition, she served as the vice president of the National Association of Hipanic Journalist from September 2011 to May 2015.

Days later, Nunez landed her first job as an entertainment and news reporter at z89 Radio in Syracuse, New York. She joined WMDT-TV/47 as a bilingual reporter since July 2015. During her time at WMDT-TV, Nunez covered the deadly prison riot at James T. Vaugh Correctional Center. Nunez won two Associated Press awards for her reporting.

Lissette’s next job was at Fox 61 in Hartford, Connecticut where she worked for almost three years before moving to Fox 8 in March 2021.
