Eric Yutzy Biography
Eric Yutzy is an American journalist working as a news anchor and reporter at WPLG Local 10 News. He moved to cover news after spending the last 11 years as an award-winning sports anchor. Yutzy joined Local 10 News in February 2014.
Prior to joining Local 10 News and he worked as a weekend sports anchor at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis. While there, he carved a niche as a storyteller, gaining behind-the-scenes access to athletes. Furthermore, he covered major sports events including Super Bols, Final Fours, the NBA, and NFL playoffs.
As a result of his hard work, he has received numerous honors, including Emmy and Associated Press awards. Eric is passionate about finding feature stories in the community that showcase hardworking people and their achievements.
He began his career as a reporter for WKEF-TV in Dayton, Ohio. After this, he moved to the Atlantic where he was a reporter and sports anchor for WMGM. Talking about his education, he attended and graduated from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. When off his duties, he spends time volunteering with many charitable organizations across different spectrums of service.
