What’s Next For Migos After Takeoff’s Death?
Takeoff dead at 28 : Well according to various online sources, Takeoff was shot dead in Houston after what its believed to be an argument.
The police received a call of a shooting in progress around 2:34 a.m. local time, Houston Police Department Chief Troy Finner said at a news conference Tuesday. When the cops arrived at the scene, they found a dead man.
It is also believed that two other people including a 24-year old woman and a 23-year old man were also injured in the shooting and took themselves to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, said Sgt. Michael Arrington with police department’s homicide division.
They came together as a group in 2008 in Georgia, and became multi-platinum hitmakers dropping their first major hit, “Versace,” in 2013. They would hit number one on Billboard in 2016 with “Bad and Boujee.”
Migos was formed back in 2008 by Quavo , Takeoff and Offset and they originally called themselves the Polo Club. They are not only members but were also raised together; Quavo is Takeoff’s uncle, and Offset is Quavo’s cousin. They both grew up together in suburban Atlanta, approximately 30 minutes northeast of Downtown in Gwinnett County.
