Tyler Eliasen is an American meteorologist who has served as a meteorologist at Fox 13 News since July 2017. After a brief hiatus from Panama City, Florida’s WMBB News 13, where he served as a morning and lunchtime reporter, Eliasen joined WVTV. In Tampa Bay, he works as a meteorologist for FOX 13.

In July 2017, Tyler joined the Fox 13 staff. He appears on weekday stand-in newscasts and weekend evening newscasts. Tyler started his career as a meteorologist intern while still a student by working at WAGA in Atlanta, WGN in Chicago, and WTTG in Washington, D.C.

He relocated to the Gulf Coast after graduating from college and began working at WMBB in Panama City, Florida. While working as the morning and midday meteorologist, Tyler covered a variety of tropical and severe weather events. He was awarded the CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) title by the American Meteorological Society in February 2015.
