Raf Sanchez is an American-British journalist who currently works for NBC News as a foreign correspondent.
Additionally, Raf is popularly known for his former work as a Middle East correspondent for the Daily Telegraph newspaper. Previously, Sanchez worked for the Manchester Evening News, the Press Association, and The Times of London.
In 2011, he moved to the Telegraph, was posted in Washington, and has been their correspondent in the Middle East since 2015. Sanchez joined NBC News as a foreign correspondent based in Instabul, Turkey in 2020.
During his time there, he covered the Middle East as well as other parts of the world such as Europe, Asia and Africa. Raf was in the frontline reporting COVID-19 pandemic, the Afghanistan withdrawal, the Ethiopia-Tigrey conflict and among other global events.
Raf graduated from Coral Gables High School in 2010. He then moved to the United Kingdom and joined the University of Oxford where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Politics in 2014.
