Paul Dellegatto is an American meteorologist who works as the current chief meteorologist for FOX 13. He can be seen weekdays on FOX 13 News from 4 p.m. to midnight and also leads a staff of five meteorologists who have all been certified by the American Meteorological Society. His journalism career began as meteorology by preparing weather forecasts for clients of a private weather company in Ithaca, New York.

Then he took a similar position outside of Boston with Weather Services Corporation, one of the nation’s top private forecasting companies, where he helped develop the USA Today’s familiar color weather page. He provided meteorological information for Boston Red Sox, an American professional baseball team based in Boston and over 50 other radio stations across the country, and public works departments across the northeast.

He officially became a Meteorologist for WGME-TV in Portland, Maine back in 1984 and later proceeded to become the Chief Meteorologist at WXII-TV in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he served for four years. Talking about his educational background, Paul attended one of the most prestigious meteorology schools in the country, Lyndon State College in Vermont. He later proceeded to University of Rhode Island where he graduated with degrees in Meteorology, Geography, and Marine Affairs.
