Kristi Krueger Biography
Kristi Krueger is an American journalist working as an Anchor and Health Reporter at WPLG Local 10 News since joining the station in August 1993. She joined the station as a co-anchor of 5:30 pm newscasts and within no time she raised ranks to her current role.
After several years of co-anchoring the 6 and 11 pm newscasts, she now co-anchors the noon newscasts. In addition to her anchoring duties, she specializes in medical reporting, and her daily “Healthcast” reports air on the 4 pm and 5 pm newscasts. Her perfection at what she does comes as a result of her utter understanding of the essence of receiving timely health information as a mother.
Going back to where she started, Kristi started her broadcast career at WWSB in Sarasota. Later in September 1988, she was promoted to co-anchor of the weekday 6 and 11 pm newscasts. She also worked as a weekend anchor and medical reporter for WDIV-TV since 1990 and later joined WPLG.
She is an active community member and devotes her free time to serving the community and participating in charity-providing programs. For several years Kristi has served as chair of the Pembroke Pines Raley For Life for The American Cancer Society.
