Kristen Currie is an American journalist and an award-winning meteorologist who is presently employed with KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas. She had previously worked as a morning meteorologist for the CBS and Fox affiliate KRQE-TV in New Mexico.
Additionally, Currie never had a conducive atmosphere to research weather variations because she was born and raised in California. Her lack of interest in weather phenomena as a child was caused by this.
Currie also enjoys eating a lot and has already started exploring ATX’s wine and food culture. She adds she would enjoy advice on where to go for the next bite to eat or beverage!
Kristen spent her time in Colorado working a whole year as an intern at KMGH-TV and KDVR-TV. She had real experience in predicting unpredictable, difficult weather patterns within or near the Rocky Mountains thanks to the broadcast stations.
