Chris Cato is an American journalist who currently works at FOX 13 in Tampa for 4 o’clock and the 11 O’clock news. Before he joined Fox 13, Chris worked for a TV station in Philadelphia, WSPA in Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina, and WMBB in Panama City, Florida.

He describes himself as the “only known curator in Florida,” and he is very proud of it. Cato joined NBC10 in 2012 as a co-anchor on weekends with Denise Nakano, then moved to morning solo reporting from 4 a.m. to 4.30 a.m.

Talking about his journalism career, Cato previously worked at WMBB as a repoter where he covered Hurricane Ivan for 12 hours in 2004.
