Andrew Perez is an American journalist currently working as a reporter and anchor at WPLG, Channel 10 News. He anchors the station’s 5, 6, and 11 pm newscasts. He joined the station in May 2014 after working for nearly 3 years at the Fox affiliate station in Mobile, Alabama-Pensacola, Florida, WALA-TV.

Talking about his education, he attended Manhattanville College where he received his Bachelor of Science in Communications with a double major in Political Science and Film Study. In addition, he spent a semester abroad in Barcelona, Sapin, as part of his studies.

Serving at WALA-TV, he ed primetime newscasts as the station’s general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. He even ended up winning an ABBY Award for his series on a missing mother, Britney Wood. Perez also reported on the April 27 Tornados and the Standard Carnival Triumph’s return to Mobile.
