Laura Whitmore is an Irish model, television and radio presenter, and actress based in London. She began as a video jockey for MTV, but is now is popularly known for presenting reality shows such as Survival of the Fittest. Whitmore started she began presenting Love Island and its spinoff series Love Island: Aftersun in January 2020.
Laura replaced Mel B as a team captain on Celebrity Juice in September 2020. She later stepped down from hosting Love Island on August 2022. From 6 September 2022 to 8 January 2023, she will play the role of Jenny in the West-End play, 222: A Ghost Story.

As of 2018, Whitmore fought against other contenders to become the face of MTV News in MTV Europe. The campaign Pick Me MTV was started by MTV Networks Europe in April 2008.
