Khaligraph Jones born Brian Ouko Robert famously known by his stage name Khaligraph Jones and often referred to as “Papa Jones” is a Kenyan rapper best known for his hit singles “Mazishi” and “Yego” . Khaligraph was born and raised in Kayole, an estate located in  in Nairobi, Kenya.

Talking about his career, he began raping at a young age in primary school alongside hope kid, a Kenyan gospel musician. He won Channel O Emcee Africa, a highly visible competition that propelled him immediately to nationwide acclaim back in 2009.

He gained popularity after posting various inventive freestyle cyphers, and in 2012 he dropped “Tema ma Verse,” a collaborative single with Abbas Kubaff. Jones was inspired and pushed by his elder to do music.

He collaborated with big artists such as Kristoff , who was one of the first people he collaborated with and who later introduced him to rapper STL and blew up in the remix to the song Biashara.

His single ‘ Yego ‘ was the song that blew out in every corners of the country.

Khaligraph Jones comes from a humble background. The rapper was raised and born in Kayole, Nairobi. When asked why the name Ouko Robert, Jones says that it was his mom who named him Ouko Robert in honor of the late Kenyan politician Dr. Robert Ouko, who was assassinated on 13 February 1990.
