Jowie Irungu born ( Joseph Irungu ) is a Kenyan Internet personality and singer best known to be the main suspect behind the death of Monica Kimani.
Monica was a Kenyan businesswoman with links to South Sudan who was killed on the 19th of September 2018. He is also popular for dating Jacqie Maribe, a former news anchor and reporter at Citizen TV.
Due to his security interest, he joined a security firm based in Kenya and worked as a guard and driver. Jowi later relocated to Dubai and joined a private security firm where he provided security to the VIPs individuals.
It is reported that he underwent training with both the British Army and the Kenyan Elite force known as the Recce Squad within the Kenya Police.
Jowie attended a local high school for his secondary education. Upon completing high school, Jowie joined Kenya Polytechnic where he graduated with a Diploma in Information Technology. He proceeded to the Technical University of Kenya where he earned a degree in the same course.
