How to Deactivate Facebook Account
Hi everyone, so today we will talk about how you can Deactivate your Facebook account either Permanently or Temporary. Remember for you to do this procedure, you must have a Facebook Account or Page that is active and if not , please open one today because Facebook is fun with friends.
First before anything, I just want to let you know that you can deactivate or reactivate your account whenever you want. When you deactivate your account, other Facebook users won’t be able to see your timeline or search for you. Unfortunately, this might result in losses in case you have a business page since people can’t access your profile or page. Additionally, some information may remain visible to others (e.g. messages you sent).
When this process goes successful, you won’t be able to use your Facebook account to access Meta Quest Products or your Meta Quest information. The following steps will guide you on how to deactivate your Facebook account.

What happens when your Facebook account is deactivated?
I understand you have a lot of questions right now after successfully deactivating your Facebook account. Worry no more because we got you. This is what occurs when you apply such modifications.
- No one else can see your profile : This means that your profile is not visible to the public since your account is on deactivation mode.
- Messages still available : This means some information, such as messages that you sent to friends, may still be visible.
- It’s possible that your friends’ list still has your name on it. Only your friends can see this, and only from their friends list.
- Group admins may still be able to see your posts and comments, along with your name.
- You will not be able to use your Facebook account to access Oculus products or your Oculus information.
- After deactivation, you won’t be able to see your Page or find your Page if they search for it. This means that you wont be able to control pages that are under your profile.
